| Aiken First to Embrace Change that Benefits |
| The Aiken Division was quite the lively crowd on Tuesday night. In between jokes, associates consumed some chicken strips, chicken nuggets, chicken wings, and chicken fingers and just about any other way, good ole yard bird can be served! If Bubba Gump served Chicken, he most certainly would have been proud! |
| Keith Stille, CEO visited the Aiken Division to share some new exciting news regarding the companys health benefits package. Over the past four years, Palmetto Ambulance Service (Palmetto) has partnered with United Healthcare (UHC) for health insurance benefits for all associates and even though Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) had attempted to partner with Palmetto, UHC had always stepped up ensuring the relationships integrity. Until this year, a year of many firsts already: The New Orleans Saints won a Super Bowl; The first African American president, Barrack Hussein Obama and BCBS creates a health insurance package that Palmetto cannot resist. |
| The new partnership between BCBS and Palmetto will afford the associates an opportunity to choose from multi-tiered medical insurance plans to fit everyones individual needs. After a brief presentation, associates patiently waited to meet either with Keith or Zach Sandlin (ACHS) to answer any additional questions and complete the enrollment process. |
| Palmetto Ambulance Service recognizes Joe Addison as Aikens Associate of the Month for February! Joe has been apart of the Palmetto family for a short time, since October 2009 to be exact; however, it that short period of time he has shown a great attitude and an exceptional work ethic. He is always willing to pitch in whenever requested and Palmetto would like to say .. THANK YOU, JOE!
|
| We would also like to give a special thanks to Jonathan Elliott and Teddy Henson for displaying Hands That Care. A family member of a patient they transported called to compliment these individuals on an outstanding job in caring for their loved one. Furthermore, the family requested future transports are performed by these two compassionate individuals. When you see Joe, Jonathan, and Teddy, be sure and pat em on the back and say thanks for making us the best ambulance service available. Great job TEAM AIKEN! |
