As the sun began to set in Aiken, South Carolina on that eerie October day, the moon began to rise to light the path for the Palmetto Creatures of the night.
It was not the usual haunting night for these creatures. It was the evening that they put things aside to enjoy a nice screaming game of Halloween Putt-Putt!
Many came out to play and to socialize with each other, while others just came out to observe. We had the honor of Afro Otto, Mr. Vampire, Cowboy Doolittle, Mr. and Mrs. Pirate, Peace Child Ron and Dracula's Wife. Many more graced us with their appearance along with the many Children of the Night. There were a few Hole-N-Ones and many missed holes, while others were lucky to just hit the ball.
Several hearts were stopped when a few ghouling creatures began scaring their friends of the night while others wished they had been so lucky to be scared.
After the night was over, we all retired to our secret solitude of slumber to prepare for our regular routine of scaring the living....
