 With much anticipation, BOWL A RAMA has made its way to Columbia, SC, where Palmetto Associates showcased their honed bowling skills. From Tiger country to the heart of Gamecock Central, one thing is certain and make no mistake about it, the Gamecocks being from the SEC know how to play and arent afraid of a little competition and tonight would be no different. |
 Approximately twenty three days until the official pigskin kickoff and Gamecock fans are already rumbling about their coach and who will lead them on the field but tonight would be about the plastic round ball that some call, a rounder or bowling ball. Here in Columbia they have a completely different perception about a game involving a ball. It doesnt matter if it is a basketball, ping pong ball or ball bearing, some how, some way, Gamecock Fans will make a game of it! And not just any ordinary game but a game of intense, strong willed, never give up, bite your arm off competition, a common denominator amongst SEC teams. |
 Teams with names like, The Swat Team, The Lucky Strikes and The Lady Bowlers were ready to get down to business, throw some strikes and spare no one in their path. After three hours of fierce competition, countless burgers and hot dogs, The Swat Team consisting of Wildman Scott, Swift Kick Trenton and Bowl Master Shakia took home the spoils, eight hours paid vacation. Bowl A Rama had recorded another record date in its hallowed book with its next stop being Aiken, South Carolina where the borderline foes of Georgia may tend to be Dog fans in a Gamecock disguise. |
